Counting Your Time
IRCC systems have access to: Border crossing records, Tax records, Healthcare records. They cross-reference. If you claim 400 days but border records show 200, they'll catch it.
Provinces Don't Matter
You can live in Ontario the whole time, or rotate between provinces. IRCC doesn't care about provincial residency. Only total days in Canada matters.
Remote Workers from Canada
If you're a Canadian PR working abroad but physically in Canada 60% of the time, you're fine. The application is based on physical presence, not employment.
